Sonic Riders Zero Gravity is the sequal to Sonic Riders which debuted on all systems last generation, now Zero Gravity makes its release on the Wii and PS2.
Sonic Riders features 16 different tracks, new characters, advance extreme gear and all new modes!
All tracks are futuristic and some what intense looking. Sega released a few samples of 3 tracks and how the designs were. Some tracks may look similar to each other, but they each have different obstacles. Each track also has its own theme, some jungle, some water park, and some just full blown futuristic.
You also have veteran characters coming in Zero Gravity, as well as some new ones such as Silver the Hedgehog, and Blaze the Cat.
Sonic Riders Zero Gravity also offers online gameplay, but on the Wii version, you will be able to download other people’s ghost data to compete and try to beat their scores.
Zero Gravity has all different modes, Gran Prix, Battle mode, Time trial and all those that you usually see in a racing game.
Zero Gravity also has new features during gameplay, if you rank up enough “Gravity Points”, you will have the option to turn-twist gravity, either use Gravity Control to ride on any surface, or use Gravity dive to go throw the track in very intense speeds (much like chaos control in Shadow the Hedgehog).
The music is all guitar and some futuristic techno beats that you might enjoy while playing. We arent sure about the voice over work, but lets just assume that it will be horrible much like the previous sonic games.
The graphics run on the same engine the original Riders did, so there isnt much improvement graphic wise.
Story
When a strange meteorite comes crashing down from the night sky, it cause all robots to go berzerk and malfunction.
Sonic and pals drive through the city to be attacked by one of these robotics messes and takes a turn for the worse when their ride blows up, and they see them selves plumitting to the ground, but right before they impact, something strange happens….they stop in mid air an realize that the meteorite that tails gave sonic has the power to minipulate gravity. Sonic and friends now know what the robots are after, but are the robots the only one? Or does a band of thieves called the Babylon Rouges want to get their hands on it too?
Sonic Riders seems like it will be another hit, and maybe this game will be a major success on the wii!
We’ll see what happens when it is released sometime next year.
A new video for the upcoming Wii Ware Square/Enix title Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Young King and the Promised Land (damn that’s a long title) has popped up.
The Japanese press report on the chines pile of feces called the “Vii”… You know, that horrible rip-off of the Nintendo Wii in Japan… I guess they could not get “James” on the phone. Last I heard he was still on the lam running from Reggie Fils-Aime.
I do not know Japanese, but it does not take a rocket scientist to see that in this video the Japanese Press as well as the average people on the street in Japan are laughing about this steaming pile of dog turds. If anybody can translate this please write a comment. I’d love to hear what the fool is saying on the phone. (from what I understand he is somebody from Vii (James?) saying the Vii is not a rip-off of the Wii, it just looks like it.)
Oh… this pile of donkey piss is $200 (US)! What a friggin joke! Every time I see a Vii video I want to kick my PC monitor out the window. This is just pure BS.
More of these cheesy “Vii” Videos… This thing is such a friggin joke. We have seen some true Nintendo and Sony rip-off’s from China but I think this one really does take the cake. This dude “James” seems to be a poor man’s Reggie. I doubt this guy could carry Reggie’s jock even on a bad day.
Anyway… check these bad videos out. They are old, but I wanted to post the so everybody could see how pathetic this “Vii” pile of feces is… I hope Nintendo, Iwata, Miyamoto and Reggie hunt these pirate a-holes down and deals out some swift justice… Sadly though this will never happen, because China is a cesspool for pirating games and system rip-offs.
I guess GameTrailers.com has nothing better to do then spend time comparing a new Wii game to a 3 year old GameCube game. What is the point guys? SMG blows SMS away in terms of looks, lighting, etc… Either way, here it is…
A video of Jesse Salazar (AKA Super Jesse Mario) on a local Fox News station in Texas. This kind of gives you a little back story to Jesse and his love for Nintendo and Mario.
